How to move your Kajabi course into Course Creator 360
Everybody who joins my software is in one of two buckets: starting from zero, or moving off a platform like Kajabi. The second bucket is bigger, and it is the one that stalls. So here is the whole move. Your courses and video files import themselves, contacts come over as a spreadsheet, pages get rebuilt from templates, and Kajabi keeps selling the whole time. You cancel it last.
Short answer: Course Creator 360 has a built-in Kajabi importer that pulls your curriculum and your video files across. You run it by making yourself a student account inside Kajabi, so your admin login never leaves your hands. Contacts export as a CSV and import in about ten minutes. Sales pages, checkouts and automations get rebuilt from our template library, by you or by our team. Your Kajabi account stays live and keeps taking money the whole time, and you cancel it only after your new checkout has processed a real payment. See the plans and the 30-day trial here.
I have moved hundreds of people off Kajabi at this point. Some have 100 videos, some have 500, a few have over 1,000. About one in five of the people who booked a demo with us in 2026 brought up moving platforms, and more than eight in ten of those already run a real business with real students. Almost nobody asking is scared of the work. They are scared of the half-move: videos stranded, students locked out, a dead week where nothing sells.
What imports itself, what gets rebuilt, and what you leave behind
Here is the asset-by-asset list. I would rather you know which column your stuff is in before you enter a card.
| What you have in Kajabi | How it gets to CC360 |
|---|---|
| Courses, modules, lessons, videos | Imports directly, curriculum and the actual video files. You sign yourself up as a learner inside your own Kajabi, grant that student the offer holding the courses you want moved, set a password, and hand CC360 that student login plus your Kajabi login domain. Whatever is in that offer is what comes across. |
| Contacts and email list | Export a CSV from Kajabi, import it in CC360. Ten minutes, no help needed, and it is walked through step by step in the bootcamp inside your account. |
| Students and their access | Once the courses and contacts are in, we grant access in bulk so every buyer lands in the right course. We build the automation and the announcement email you send when you are ready to move everybody over. |
| Website, sales pages, landing pages | Rebuilt, not exported. Kajabi is not going to make an exception and help you move onto a competitor, and neither would anyone else. So these get built again in the CC360 page builder, and that is exactly why you end up on a page we have run our own ad money through instead of the one you settled for at 11pm in 2023. |
| Checkout and payment plans | Rebuilt and reconnected to your own Stripe. In Kajabi you fit inside their offer and their checkout page. Here you build whatever checkout you want, and that is the thing to test first, because copying the look of a checkout is easy and a page that is not wired to a processor takes zero dollars. |
| Email sequences and automations | Rebuilt from our library, 50 plus templates on Premium and Elite. Kajabi's email marketing is bad for about a million reasons, which is why this is the piece I want you using on day one. It is the part that actually makes money. |
| Images, PDFs and course media | Comes across with the import, and then check it. An image pulled off an old Kajabi site has to be hosted in your CC360 media library to keep working. I learned that on our own pages, years after we moved. |
| Blog posts and long-form pages | Rebuilt, and the asset people forget to list. The URLs nobody writes down are the ones that quietly disappear, so write yours down first and every one comes back on our templates. |
Why the pages get rebuilt, and why that is the upgrade
Every platform lets you leave with your video files and your customer list, because that is your property. None of them hand over the pages, because the page is the software. Kajabi is no different from us there, and neither is Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign. Every time I have moved a business off a piece of software, we rebuilt the pages. That is the cost of a migration. So when someone promises you that "everything moves", ask what happens to the sales page. The only real questions are who rebuilds it and whether the new one is better.
Now the honest part about how it looks. Kajabi is prettier out of the box, they have more theme options than we do, and if you paid a developer to custom code your course portal, I am not going to pretend we clone that this month. I will give them all of that.
And here is what I have watched for years: the people making under $10,000 a month are the ones agonizing over rounded corners and transparent backgrounds, and it kills them. It is one of the biggest course creator mistakes there is. What got my business to multiple six figures a month was email sequences, automations, tagging, segmentation, funnels and websites that convert. Nobody ever bought a course because the module thumbnails had a nice hover state. Rebuilding on a builder that starts from proven layouts is not a downgrade you tolerate. It is the reason the move pays for itself.
The order that keeps Kajabi selling while you move
There is a right sequence, and it exists for one reason: nothing you sell should ever be offline. The importer copies your courses, it does not remove them. Your Kajabi course sits where it is unless you cancel Kajabi yourself.
- Start the trial and pay both bills for a few weeks. Thirty days on Premium or Elite, fourteen on Starter. Yes, you double pay for a month. That month is the insurance policy, and it is cheaper than a week of dead links.
- Make yourself a student inside your own Kajabi. Create the contact with the email CC360 gives you, grant that student the offer that holds the courses you want, then set a password. Two minutes, and the reason it works this way is that you never hand anybody your admin account.
- Run the import. Enter that learner password and your Kajabi login domain, the one your students use to get into their courses, then let it work. If you get an error, it is almost always the domain, so check that first.
- Import your contacts. CSV out of Kajabi, CSV into CC360.
- Build the pages. Sales page, checkout, thank-you page, opt-in, from templates. Or send our team what you have and they clone it one to one.
- Buy your own product. Real card, all the way through, then refund yourself. You are checking that the checkout charges, the receipt sends, and the buyer lands inside the course.
- Point your domain. The actual cutover, and the one step to do on a call with our team rather than alone at midnight. Until you flip it, your CC360 pages sit on a temporary address and your live site is untouched.
- Tell your students, then cancel Kajabi. One email: new login link, same courses, nothing to buy again. Access is granted before that email goes out.
Most people run this in one to three weeks, and the only step with a hard date is the domain. The same sequence works from GoHighLevel, with a snapshot instead of the importer.
Four things to check before you cancel Kajabi
These four are where the horror stories come from, and all four are preventable.
- Your media really lives in CC360. Open three lessons and a page and confirm everything plays from your new account, not from a link back to your old site. Files borrowed from a Kajabi page keep working right up until they do not, and that is exactly why cancelling sits at the end of this sequence: while both accounts are live, a missing image is a five-minute fix instead of a lost file.
- Your checkout takes money. A rebuilt page that looks perfect and is not connected to your processor is the most expensive mistake here, and that is exactly why buying your own product is a step in the sequence and not a suggestion: you find out your checkout charges before your students do. Test with a real card.
- Every URL you care about is on the list. Blog posts, free opt-ins, a webinar page you forgot about in 2024. Write it yourself. Nobody else knows which links sit in your old emails.
- Nobody has stumbled onto your half-built account. A login page still under construction can turn up in a search result mid-move and confuse students you have not told yet. Leave it off your domain until you flip, and that is exactly why your live site stays untouched until the day you decide it is ready.
Cancel last. That is the whole rule, and it is the one people break in a burst of enthusiasm on a Tuesday.
What happens to your students on cutover day
This is the question that stops the big accounts, and it is the one I would ask too. Nobody wants to email two thousand students and say "please reset your password, we changed platforms again."
The biggest version of this I have run moved tens of thousands of students off Kajabi, for a filmmaking course business I ran marketing for. It was probably the largest migration Kajabi had seen at the time. It worked, and it is why I am relaxed about yours.
Here is the honest part. Your students do get new logins, and there will be a week or two of people getting used to a new door. What they do not do is buy anything twice or work any of it out themselves. Access is pushed to every existing buyer in bulk before you announce anything, and we build the automation and write the email with you, so the link already works when it lands. The accounts that handle this well send it as good news, because they are announcing a community, a mobile app and a members area better than what they had.
Do it yourself, or hand us the whole thing
Both are real options, and I will tell you which one I would pick for you.
| You do it | CC360 Experts do it | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Included. The importer, the CSV import and every template come with your plan. | Quoted per project. Most land around $600, ranging roughly $300 to $1,500 by how many pages and funnels you have. Prices checked September 2026. |
| Time | A weekend for one course and a sales page. Longer with a full library and website. | About an hour of your time: hand over what you have and a list of pages, then approve. |
| Courses | Import them yourself in an afternoon. This part genuinely is not hard. | Same tool, run by someone who has done it hundreds of times. |
| Pages and funnels | Template, swap your copy and images, publish. | A one-to-one clone of what you have now, down to your hex codes. |
| Start date | None. Start ten minutes after you sign up. | Scheduled work, so it starts when the team reaches your project, and that is exactly why the part that moves the money is included and instant. Get your project in front of them early, then import your courses and contacts yourself the same afternoon. |
My read: run the course import and the contact import yourself on day one. They take an afternoon and they are the part that feels scary and is not. Then decide about the pages once you have seen the templates. Plenty of people who planned to pay us never need to. Here is everything we build for you.
The one case where I would move in the background instead
If you have a launch on the calendar in the next three weeks, do not cut your domain over in the middle of it. Cart open is the worst time to change a checkout. Start the trial anyway, import the courses and contacts while Kajabi runs the launch, build the pages in the background, and flip the domain the week after the cart closes. That is the only version of "wait" I will give you, and it still starts today, because an import running quietly beside a live launch costs you nothing.
Everyone else is just paying twice while they think about it. Kajabi once quoted me $350 to migrate a 20-video course off another platform, a 10x markup on the dumbest little service in this industry. Templates cost extra there. The mobile app costs extra. The community costs extra. I built the opposite on purpose: the importer, the templates and the setup calls are in the plan you already pay for. Check what Kajabi charges you now, add whatever you pay around it for email, funnels, calendars and a CRM, and put that next to $147 a month with all of it included. That number ends the debate faster than any feature list.
Want somebody to walk the account with you first? Book a demo and bring your Kajabi tabs open. Still weighing platforms rather than planning a move? Start here. Otherwise take the 30 days and run both side by side. The people who get burned are never the ones who moved. They are the ones who spent eight months deciding while the bills stacked up.
Frequently asked questions
Can I import my Kajabi courses into Course Creator 360?
Yes. There is a built-in Kajabi importer inside your course area, and it brings across the curriculum and the video files, not just the outline. Very large libraries, the 500 and 1,000 video ones, sometimes get copied over by hand by our team instead, and we have done plenty of those, so you are never stuck either way.
Do I have to hand over my Kajabi admin login to import a course?
No, and that is the part people are relieved about. You sign yourself up as a learner in your own Kajabi, grant that student the offer holding the courses you want, set a password, and give CC360 that. Two-factor on your admin account never comes into it, and you can delete the learner account afterward.
Does my course stay in Kajabi after I import it?
Yes. The importer copies, it does not move. Your Kajabi course sits exactly where it was and keeps selling until you cancel Kajabi yourself, which should be the last thing you do, not the first.
How long does it take to move from Kajabi to Course Creator 360?
The course import is an afternoon and contacts are ten minutes. Rebuilding pages and testing checkout is where the time goes, so most people are fully cut over in one to three weeks. A large library plus a full website means the longer end. Book the domain step on a call.
How much does it cost to migrate from Kajabi?
Doing it yourself costs nothing beyond your plan, since the importer and the templates are included. A done-for-you migration through CC360 Experts is quoted per project, typically around $600, in a range of roughly $300 to $1,500 depending on how much you are moving. Prices checked September 2026. For context, Kajabi quoted me $350 to move a single 20-video course.
Will my students lose access to their courses when I switch?
No. Access is granted to every existing buyer in bulk before you announce the move, so the login link in your announcement email works the moment it lands. They do not repurchase. They do get a new login and a week or two of getting used to a new door, and that is the whole disruption.
Can you move my Kajabi website and sales pages over?
Not by export, because Kajabi does not offer one for site pages, and no platform does for a competitor. They get rebuilt in the CC360 page builder, by you from a template or by our team as a one-to-one clone. Most people end up with better pages than the ones they left.
Should I cancel Kajabi before I start my trial?
No, and please do not. Run both for a few weeks. Your Kajabi account is your backup and your live storefront until your new checkout has taken a real payment and your domain points here. One double bill is the cheapest insurance here.
